About
DJ. Photographer. Curator
My life as a DJ and photographer has — without any intention — always been intertwined.
When I took my first gig as a nightlife photographer many years ago, I never would have dreamed that it would have led me to where I am today.
Three years of documenting the world of the rave in my hometown of Delhi opened up a new creative portal for me when I finally settled in Vancouver. In Vancouver, I spent another three years doing the same before embarking on an expedition to be a song selector — a quest that is ongoing, and never-ending.
Now, I spend the bulk of my time balancing playing music as a DJ, curating shows with Hyperbolic Chamber, and working as a photographer.
I love working in each space equally, and I find my creativity and excitement for the work continues to grow.
I find the creative acts of DJ-ing, and shooting stills to be deeply meditative, and interlinked.
With my DJ sets — heavily influenced by my obsession with psychedelic rock — I aim to curate an atmosphere where the listener is taken on a trip. I enjoy blending genres, whether branches of techno, house, electro or breaks, my intention is to play tracks that are rarely heard, but that propel the listener into an ecstatic wormhole where they can be free.
My photography focuses on the subject, using as much natural light as possible, highlighting contrast, and filling the frame with as much colour as I can. My work in photography has pulled me in many different directions across nightlife, portraiture, and sports.
I love it all, and feel fortunate to be able to work so regularly in creative spaces.
Drop a word, and let’s collaborate.
I am currently based in Vancouver, but am open to traveling for work.
